Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Caligo Knife, CR-6215
The CRKT Caligo Knife, designed by Idaho knifemaker TJ Schwarz, is a little workhorse of an EDC that features a 3.185″ spear point blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, .129″ thick, with a non reflective black oxide finish, a top swedge, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle, 4.471″ closed, has a decorative blue pivot ring for visual appeal, the Flavio Ikoma designed IKBS Ball Bearing Pivot System for smooth opening, finger grooves and palm swell onlay for secure purchase, liner lock, lanyard hole and removable steel pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Caligo Knife has an overall open length of 7.625″, and it weighs 3.4 ounces.
